Hue Travel Guide
Set on the banks of the Perfume River, Hue can be considered as a highlight to any trip to Vietnam. The river jogs diagonally, starting from the northeast and going to the southeast of the city. The combination of man-made canals and natural tributaries makes it a watery place especially during the typhoon season; this is when the rivers may overflow making several streets practically impassible. Considering this, it's important for you to travel in the right season. It has a tropical monsoon climate and the dry season starts from March and goes to august; the temperature stays between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. The flood season usually hits after October.
