DAY 1 SIEM REAP - ARRIVAL

• 08:00 Depart Bangkok by flight for Siem Reap


• 09:40 Arrive Siem Reap and transfer direct for tour


• Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.


• Lunch at the hotel


• 14:00 Visit Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm temples until sunset.


• Note: During the visit of the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear a proper attire, covering shoulders and knees as this temple is still considered as a sacred site (no short, miniskirt or short trousers). Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.

  Discover Angkor on a tethered Balloon from 60 Meters above: a new and exciting way to catch a photogenic bird-view of the Heritage Site. Enjoy a 10 minutes flight in a specially designed platform, which can lift-up 30 passengers in one go.

DAY 2 SIEM REAP

• 08:00 Visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre Temples.


• Note: During the visit of Bantey Srey temple - visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders and arms and long skirts or trousers covering legs (no miniskirt or short trousers).


• Option: Visit Angkor Butterfly Center (see supplement price - US$ 4 per person)
  Angkor Butterfly is an interactive butterfly exhibit located 25 km north of Siem Reap, on the road to the Landmine Museum and Banteay Srei temple. The exhibit consists of a netted tropical garden with hundreds of free-flying butterflies, all of which are species to Cambodia. The enclosure is South East Asian's largest butterfly exhibit and provides residents and tourists with an interactive and visual environment to learn about butterflies. At ABC it is possible to experience butterflies feeding and flying very close at hand and to witness the complete life cycle of many species.   The first, best and currently the only true night market in Siem Reap. Located in the heart of town, the Angkor Night Market opens in the mid-afternoon and stays open until at least midnight. The Market harbors more than 100 shops and stalls offering souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, books, DVDs, electronics, jewelry, art and there's even a travel agent, 3Dmovies...The shopping atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.

DAY 3 SIEM REAP - PHNOM PENH

• Early breakfast


• 07.00 Transfer to the airport


• 08.10 Depart Siem Reap by flight for Phnom Penh (Schedule flight subject to change according to airline policy).


• Flight Siem Reap-Phnom Penh (see separate price)


• 09.00 Arrive Phnom Penh and transfer to the Sunway Hotel


• 10.00 Visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda

• p.m. Visit Wat Phnom, Wat Ounalom and National Museum.

DAY 4 PHNOM PENH -CHAU DOC

• Breakfast at hotel


• 08.00 Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (former Khmer Rouge prison camp) and Russian Market.


• 12.00 Lunch at hotel before departure


• Transfer to the pier


• p.m. Depart Phnom Penh by boat for Chau Doc


• Dinner and accommodation at Victoria Chau Doc (superior room) or similar

DAY 5 CHAU DOC - CAN THO

• Breakfast.


• In the morning, take a boat trip to discover one of typical feature of Chau Doc, floating houses with cages under water for breeding fish, and then arrive at Phu Hiep, a Cham stilt house village with mosques. Visit Cham village, see women weaving colorful traditional silk costumes on hand looms. Back in Chau Doc visit Lady Xu temple at the foot of the Sam Mountain.


• Lunch at local restaurant.


• Overland transfer to Can Tho in the afternoon.


• Dinner and accommodation at Victoria Can tho (superior room) or similar

DAY 6 CAN THO - HO CHI MINH CITY

• Breakfast.


• Take a morning boat ride to Cai Rang, one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. The boat will take you through Rach Ngong to see local houses and green orchards.


• Lunch at a local restaurant.


• Back to Can Tho, transfer over land to Ho Chi Minh City.


• Dinner and accommodation at New World hotel (Deluxe room) or similar

DAY 7 HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE

• Breakfast


• Visit to History Museum (closed on Mondays) followed by a walking tour in the heart of the city passing by the City hall, Opera house, Reunification Palace, the General Post office and Notre Dame Cathedral (depending on the departure flight)


• Lunch at the hotel.


• Transfer to the airport for departure for the next destination.
