Group Graphic Designer

Purpose of the role

A key part of the Asian Trails marketing team, the Graphic Designer will influence the global corporate identity of the brand, elevating the public and internal image of Asian Trails. The designer, working closely with the Group E-Commerce & Marketing director and internal team, will support a wide variety of online & offline graphic elements, from simple signage to interactive brochures across the Asian Trails group.

Key Responsibilities/Job Description:

Platforms/Touchpoints

  • Support the Group Marketing Manager & Marketing team with ideas and designs to improve the UX/UI of all corporate touchpoints
  • Provide design elements to specification needed for online touchpoints

Content

  • Work with the Director of Marketing and other stakeholders to produce and maintain a definitive style guide for all brand elements of Asian Trails (and any additional brand of the group) as required
  • Support the Group Marketing Manager by providing design concepts for a variety of online & offline marketing collaterals such as advertisements/campaigns, brochures, presentations, new business tenders, posters, leaflets, standees, exhibitions and displays, events, corporate communications to demand
  • Ensure all brand materials are designed and produced with consistency at the highest possible standard, conforming to all agreed brand identity guidelines
  • Retouch/edit images where required
  • Support image identification, acquisition and storage (where needed) from internal and external sources
  • Support the design of any corporate identity materials (i.e., business cards, uniforms, vehicles

Delivery

  • Support the design & formatting of various EDM deliverables, including newsletters, mail blasts and advertising initiatives
  • Support the design & production of trade show stands and road show materials
  • Provide design elements as required to internal/external sources
  • Support any in-house office decor/design of Asian Trails (including trade show & tour desk installations) to ensure brand standards are maintained
  • Provide quality control on printed materials where possible (i.e., where physically based); provide remote advice & support to other destinations

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design preferred
  • Fluent command of verbal and written English is important; other languages are a plus
  • Working experience in the travel & tourism industry is an advantage
  • Good command of modern applications, project management tools & programs essential
  • Demonstrable experience with creative design tools (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Preferred minimum of 5-years’ experience in design or marketing related role
  • Experience and knowledge of printing and production is a plus
