Inbound Indian Market – Sales Support

Purpose of the role

Assist the Inbound Indian Market Team in doing quotations, handling enquiries, manage operations of services once booking is confirmed. Maintain the highest standard of services to agents and clients and help to control all activity within the Inbound Indian Market Department. Follow the company’s policy at all times and devote effort to contribute to the company’s success.

  • Assist the Manager and Assistant Manager – Inbound India in all areas of responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest standard of services to agents and clients and help to control all activity with the Inbound Indian Market Department
  • Follow the company’s policy at all times and devote effort to contribute to the company’s success
  • Solve internal and external problems
  • Handle MICE Group quotations and workout effective rates – market specific and close business deals
  • Need to negotiate and work out best rates as per market standards
  • Handle on Ground Groups – traveling may be required for official purpose
  • Follow up payment for non-credit agents/overdue credit
  • Renew and foster good relationship to hotels/suppliers, etc.
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within Asian Trails Group

Qualifications | Desired experience

  • Successfully completed degree of international tourism
  • Previous work experience in the field of tourism, preferably in Group booking division.
  • Should have handled MICE business from Indian subcontinent business
  • Very good knowledge of English/Indian language (oral and written)
  • Good knowledge in MS office applications
  • Being able to delegate, cooperate and coordinate with all concerned persons and institutions within the travel industry
  • Team spirit as well as independent working attitude
  • Hard working and friendly, service minded attitude
  • Good training skills
  • This position is open for Thai nationals only
