Product Quotation Specialist | Thailand
About the role

As a Product Quotation Specialist at Asian Trails, you will be responsible for creating accurate travel quotations for our large range of products. You will collaborate closely with the sales and contracting teams to ensure that our quotations are not only competitive in the market but also aligned with our company’s pricing policies and profitability targets. You will report directly to the Product Development Manager for Thailand.

Responsibilities
  • Quotation excellence: Utilise your attention to detail and pricing expertise to generate quotations that showcase the value and uniqueness of our travel offerings;
  • Standard cost revision: Proactively engage in the renewal and extension of existing pricelists for Thailand, including tariffs for specific markets;
  • Product knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our travel products, keeping abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings;
  • Effective communication: Act as a bridge between our internal teams, ensuring seamless communication in gathering all necessary details for accurate and comprehensive product quotations;
  • Negotiation and collaboration: Engage with external partners and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure the best possible deals for our clients;
  • Documentation and accuracy: Maintain meticulous records of quotations, pricing structures and supplier communications to support the sales process and ensure accuracy;
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements in the quotation workflow and provide insights to contribute to our pricing and product strategies;
  • Sustainability: Ensure the correct implementation of our corporate sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry is highly desirable;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and effectively manage different timelines;
  • Good knowledge of Thailand travel products;
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities;
  • Proficient in English and Thai languages, both oral and written;
  • Proficiency in using quotation and pricing tools;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
