Travel Consultant French Market


Purpose of the role The role of tour administrator of reservations is a crucial link between our partner and our suppliers. In this role you will be taking care of the complete reservation process including starting from receiving requests from travel agents abroad, prepare offers and quotations, timely follow-up and booking of all services with our branch offices, hotels and suppliers in Indonesia. You are also responsible to issue vouchers to hotels and other suppliers as well as the invoicing process and payment collection. You will be joining our young and dynamic team of passionate colleagues.

Overall responsibilities
  • Responsible for communication with the overseas travel agencies and tour operators in French.
  • Preparation of itineraries and quotations.
  • Sending reservation requests to hotels and land service providers in Indonesia.
  • Follow up on sent over programs.
  • Ensuring that all relevant data is uploaded in Asian Trails' administration system.
  • Coordination with the operation department with our offices in booking land services.
  • Follow up payment with its customers.
  • General administration tasks.
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Tourism preferably in Tourism and/or Hospitality studies; or relevant working experience.
  • Excellent command in French, both in writing and speaking. A good level of English is definitely an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a travel & tourism company, preferably dealing with the French Market.
  • Specific destination knowledge in Indonesia and/or South East Asia.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and understanding of French client expectations is a must.
  • Good attention to detail is required.
  • Experience with Destination Management software is an advantage.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset.
  • This position is open for Indonesian nationals only.
