Coffee Culture

Sithar coffee farm has opened its doors to visitors interested in learning about Myanmar’s coffee culture. Founded in 1996 it is about 1.5-hour drive from Mandalay and within proximity of the former British hill station Pyin Oo Lwin which, at 1,000 metres, is ideal for coffee growing.

The guided tour with local coffee aficionados around the 40-acre plantation takes guests to see how coffee is grown and harvested to enjoying a cuppa of the brew.
