Glamping in Cambodia

Only accessible by boat, the lodge is the perfect place to escape civilization. It is one of only a few floating tented camps in the world and has been built using eco-friendly materials, including water hyacinth. To preserve the tranquillity, only 12 tents have been erected.

Our stay involves a leisurely hike through the rainforest to a waterfall. According to conservationists, the area harbours over 100 mammals, including the clouded leopard and the Malaysian sun bear and over 500 species of birds.

Another experience involves meeting fishermen who work on the Tatai River – an interaction that will give an insight into their relationship with the pristine environment. A day at leisure to relax is included, or we can use the free kayaks to set off on some solo exploration. Other options include waterfall trips, firefly and sunset cruises and village excursions. This resort takes the concept of glamping to a higher level.

With our rejuvenation complete, we transfer back to Phnom Penh and the conclusion of five days in natural seclusion.
