Sidecar view of Beijing’s leading attractions

While a conventional city tour may showcase the highlights of China’s captivating capital from behind a bus window, Asian Trails’ China team has adopted a more ‘open-air’ approach to urban exploration.

A new excursion designed by our Beijing product specialists is conducted on a vintage Kuazi motorcycle-sidecar combination, a machine that dates back to the 1930s. Guests sit in comfort on an upright chair as the driver weaves through the traffic. This provides a different viewpoint of Beijing’s landmarks, plus greater immersion with the city’s environment. The three-wheeler also enables access to narrow alleyways and streets denied to larger vehicles, such as the famed hutongs.

Leave the traffic jams behind and race to iconic sites such as the Forbidden City on this excellent excursion.
