Sustainable tourism at its best

A new concept in eco-friendly tourism that combines sustainability with comfort has been developed at Boulder Bay Eco Resort in Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago.

Situated on one of the westernmost islands in the chain, the island has exceptional water clarity. Guests can experience a hybrid of luxury with a dedication to sound ecological practices on a four-day Asian Trails’ designed package. The resort features 20 bungalows built entirely from renewable, local materials. Consequently, they blend in with the surrounding environment and when viewed from the sea, no structures are visible.

Guests have four stunning beaches to lounge on and activities include snorkelling with marine biologists, fishing with Moken sea gypsies and guided eco discovery walks.
