Bagan never fails to impress visitors

Over 2200 temples, pagodas and ruins of monasteries are dotted across the plains of Bagan. Whether you’re getting up-close with one of them, seeing them from the sky or simply enter this ancient example of a great realm that peaked between the 11th and 13th century, nothing prepares you when planning your journey to the magical side of Myanmar.
With other stupas peaking above the tree lines, it will take a couple of days to literally see all of them, see their uniqueness in construction and design, and bear witness of how these UNESCO-protected structures of stone still function as a religious outpost.
