Tree planting project at Myanmar’s Yay Pu Mountain

Recently, Asian Trails Nyaung Shwe office, together with the Union of Myanmar Travel Association and Myanmar Tourist Transportation Association in southern Shan State, planted about 500 trees as part of the monsoon plantation project.
About 80 people participated in the project at Yay Pu Mountain (Hot Spring Mountain) on the west bank of Inle Lake, and saw them planting tree species that included teak, avocado, neem, Cobra Saffron and Yellow Champaca.
Asian Trails sponsored food and drinks for the event, providing participants with sticky rice, fried tofu, cold refreshment and water.
