A well-balanced pace to a local market in Myanmar

Aside of being the most sacred place for Buddhists, the head has proven to function well for carrying household good, flowers and vegetables.
Touching the head is in many South-East Asian destinations, where Buddhism is primarily practiced, is often seen as an insult, a no-go, as it is home to the soul.
In Myanmar, the head’s purpose as a stable cradle for carrying anything may require some training  but as shown by this local woman in Mandalay, it quite works well.
