Myanmar - Yandabo Home

Yandabo is on the Ayeyarwady River in central Myanmar where The Treaty of Yandabo, which ended the First Anglo-Burmese War, was signed on February 24, 1826. It is also well known as a pottery village with pots made out of clay from the river bank.
‘A night in Yandabo’ with Asian Trails Myanmar is a rare experience to experience the local life and enjoy its natural surroundings. Don’t be surprised, when biking around the area, to see as many as 4,000 buffaloes as the villagers use them to work in the rice fields and fruit and vegetable plots.
