China is a land of extremes and Qinghai is one of these corners that simply cannot be compared with any other part of this gigantic destination.
Scarcely populated, with strong Tibetan and Mongol cultural traditions and a landscape that can be summarized as ‘seeing is believing’, at first glance, there may not be much happening in this north-western province. But the truth is far from it.
Said to be one of the holiest places in the country for Buddhist pilgrims, we’d highly recommend putting on your hiking shoes and touring the vastness with us.
