Royal Presence in the Cambodian Capital

Far from hidden from the public eye, the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh dominates the capital’s riverside skyline.
The official residence of the King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia, large parts of the compound and the enclosed Silver Pagoda remain accessible for the public.
There is very little not to love when wandering around this royal site: from the ornate gilding roofs to the Throne Hall with its 59 meter-high tower, modelled after the Bayon.
