Royal Preservation in downtown Bangkok

Suan Pakkad Palace, located on Sri Ayutthaya Road in Bangkok, is a unique traditional venue due to its interesting history. It was once the private residence of Prince and Princess Chumbhot of Nagara Svarga who, in 1952, converted it to a museum, the first in Thailand. The complex comprises eight traditional with covered hallways between them.
The houses, also called brims, hold antiques and artifacts that range from Buddhist art to ancient murals, including the ancient Ban Chiang collection dating back to the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages.
