Shore Serenity off Malacca

A permanent marker to find spiritual respite in Malacca, even when the tides are high.
Built on an artificial island, Pulau Selat Mosque sits on stilts over the sea that gives the appearance that it is floating when the tide is high.
It was opened in 2006 by Malaysia’s King and its contemporary Islamic design features a gold-domed roof surrounded by four red turrets.
