Uncountable Buddha statues at Shwe Yan Pyay Temple

Hundreds of donated Buddha statues have found their way in the spiritual “Wall of Fame”: an affirmation of the importance of the Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery in Myanmar.
Located 2,5 kilometres north of the gateway to Inle Lake, Nyaung Shwe, the monastery is a marvel of ornate designs, ancient murals that date back to the end of the 19th century, and an example of the durability of teak wood.
The monastery has a few more highlights, but walking in all tranquillity along these images of the Lord Buddha is respecting its main purpose.
