Seen as a serious contender for the award as one of Vietnam’s most charming temples, a large congregation of locals make their way on a daily basis into the spiritual realm of this 11th century temple complex in the heart of the capital.
It is one of several temples in Vietnam which is dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars, marking it as the country’s first university with its roots deeply sunk into gathering knowledge and educating those hunger for learning.
