Hoi An Lantern

Hoi An is unmistakably connected with the lantern.
And to honour its traditions and brightening character in all shapes and colours, the monthly Lantern Festival sees an influx of visitors making its way into the yellow-bricked village centre and onto the Thu Bon river banks.
Planned to the date to collide with the full moon, for centuries lanterns are used to worship their ancestors and the God of the land. This tradition is continued until today which turns Hoi An into a spectacle of light when another Lantern Festival arrives.
