Destination Administrator


Purpose of the role
    This position is for our new joint venture company with the Thomas Cook Group, one of the world's leading leisure travel groups and the employment will be with the new company once established. This challenging position is to ensure exceptional service is delivered to customers in destination. Destination Administrators will provide efficient and thorough administration support to the destination operation, ensuring all team members are able to provide a great holiday experience to our customers.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Ensures that commitments made by Thomas Cook Group to customers are met. Makes prompt, clear decisions to resolve issues and takes responsibility to take the actions required to address these
  • Responds to customers queries via various communication methods including email and telephone to ensure their needs are met
  • Provides in-resort customer care and complies with governance and escalation processes to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintains respectful relationships with third parties in-resort, including local agency and hoteliers
  • Maintains respectful relationships with all source markets in that given destination
  • Actively manages paperwork and completes all required tasks in a timely and compliant manner
  • Ensure that all financial procedures are completed on a daily basis
  • Provide excellent customer service for all customers who you come into contact with by phone, e mail and face to face
  • Assist with organising airport operations.
Qualifications
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and written
  • Minimum 1 year experience in travel and tourism
  • High level of IT literacy and use of Microsoft office packages and external Tourism / Business qualification are essential for this position.
  • Able to build strong internal/external relationships
  • Has a truly service minded approach to the role
  • Organised to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong decision making skills and effective at problem solving
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexible on working hours during peak season
  • Advanced excel skills enabling production of formulas to deliver detailed MI data is a prerequisite
  • Educated to University degree or equivalent are preferred but not essential
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season. A "Can Do" attitude and positive thinking, includes creative thinking
  • This position is available for Thai nationals only
