Sales Executive | Tour Counter


Purpose of the role
    A position that demands flexibility, a great people's person and a desire for accurate sales and advice: this position of sales executive brings our end customers closer to our broad ranges of services and tours across Bangkok and the rest of Thailand. Sales-driven persons with a passion for Thailand as the ideal destination for your holiday will be able to meet various nationalities from across the globe and advise them on the broad tour and excursion options. Based at one of Bangkok's leading hotels, the ideal candidate will become a part of a great team of passionate travel colleagues.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Ensuring appropriate sales and giving invaluable advice about Thailand excursions, tours and transportations in and around Bangkok to the hotel guests.
  • Pro-actively approaching hotel guests in consulting them and provide accurate information about all our selling products.
  • Cross sell products from other destinations within the Asian Trails Group.
  • Enjoy working with hotel guests from different countries all over the world.
  • Coordinate the bookings with the operational teams and ensure proper guide selection and operational quality.
  • Handle possible complaints about services you sold and coordinate and negotiate with the operational teams.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be flexible to handle last minute requests.
  • Provide monthly sales report and follow up on general administration tasks where required.
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group.
  • Keep a close and friendly relationship with stakeholders in the hotel, such as General Manager and reservation staff.
Qualification
  • Proven work experience in counter / B2C sales or similar role is an advantage
  • The ability to consult independently with hotel guests and can pro-actively share insider knowledge with the guests.
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of key tourist destinations, primarily within Bangkok Area
  • A pro-active results-focused approach.
  • Fluent command of English and Thai - both verbally and in writing - is essential (additional languages are a definite advantage).
  • Good customer service background
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in PC skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • This position is open for Thai nationals only
