WHY THIS TOUR?
Depicting how life is on Vietnam without having to go and travel deep into the rural parts: an evening where a touch of tradition meets an artistic impression of life in upcountry Vietnam and all that within a short distance from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel. An evening packed with culture, authenticity, and great local food has said to complete another perfect day.
We have carefully chosen venues that stand out from the crowd, like the show we’ll be presenting tonight at the Saigon Opera House. Constructed in 1898, this is a perfect venue to sit back, relax and enjoy a marvellously-choreographed evening. Its architecture and its importance for the proper display of Vietnamese arts and performance will elevate this evening to new heights.

TRAIL ITINERARY
17:30 - 21:30
It is highly recommendable to book a hotel as central as possible for this evening out as, together with your English speaking guide, you will walk from your hotel lobby to the Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City. Also known as the Saigon Concert Hall, constructed at the end of the 19th century, this building is a smaller counterpart of the Hanoi Opera House.
Extensive renovations in the 1940s have given the building its look and its multi-functional role as a theatre for the performing arts. We are not here to show you the amazing architecture but to get a taste of how life in Vietnam truly is. A 1-hour performance of world-class standards shows, with the support of sophisticated lighting and mesmerizing live music, played from 20 traditional Vietnamese instruments, the daily life, that incorporates some wonderfully choreographed snapshots of rural and urban life.
Best of all, there is a real appreciation of old and new Vietnam that is beautifully expressed on the stage. Seize the opportunity to sit back and be thoroughly captivated, letting an hour fly by unheeded as your senses are taken on a visually inspiring journey. The evening would not complete without a Vietnamese contemporary dining experience. Typical Vietnamese dishes from Mother’s kitchen move you into next height with innovative fusion techniques and presentation.
After this performance, it is time for something exquisite Vietnamese: a sumptuous selection of the finest dishes in Vietnam is served at a local restaurant, just minutes away from the Opera House. Your guide will gladly explain these dishes before either bringing you back to your hotel on your arrangement or may give you some tips and advice for a great evening out.
