Blowing Bubbles off Phuket’s Racha Islands
Blowing Bubbles off
Phuket’s Racha Islands
Racha Noi is as beautiful above the surface as well under the surface. During this full day
excursion, we’ll be heading below the sea where one of Phuket’s most exhilarating
dive sites awaits you and see what lies below sea level around Koh Racha.
WHY THIS TOUR?
Any serious scuba diver agrees: Phuket’s off-coastal underwater world deserves to be explored. With the Racha Islands a short boat ride away from southern Thailand’s holiday shores, seeing what’s below the Andaman Sea surface affirms that the country indeed deserves to take a prime position in the world of diving enthusiasts.
Part of a dual island system, called Koh Racha, Racha Noi is the smaller of the two islands yet easily matches the beauty of its larger brother – Racha Yai. Going off anchor, being properly geared up and making the splash in the salty waters for 3 relaxing dives with ample to see, a day away from your sun lounger or beach towel just cannot be better filled in.

TRAIL ITINERARY
08:00 - 18:00
With your driver waiting for you at your hotel lobby at around 8 am, we head straight to the main boat pier on Phuket where you will board a dedicated dive boat. This vessel will sail south in direction of Koh Racha, one of Phuket’s most famed scuba diving spots. This is a great site if you have not dived for a while and need to get wet.
On the way to Koh Racha Noi, your scuba diving instructor will brief you what you will see and experience: this diving trip is suited for all levels with an easy grade of diving to see a good variety of marine wild life. All equipment will be on board and with patience and lots of fun you will head into the water upon arrival at the dive site.
Koh Racha is one of the stunning tropical islands surrounding Phuket, located south of the Pearl of the Andaman and has gained a reputation of being one of the most suitable dive sites for both beginners and experienced scuba and snorkel enthusiasts. In comparison to its larger brother, Koh Racha Noi is better when looking for a multi-level diving experience. The main site is a large rocky finger that goes all the way down to 30 meters, covered with corals and sea anemones. It is not uncommon to find barracudas, stingrays and sharks here, as well as the resident bullet-head parrotfish. Along the exploration of the underwater world around Racha Noi and Yai, a plethora of coral fish call this home and you will be able to see various species swimming around. Lunch will be included on board the boat.
After making 3 dives with your instructor, you will head back to the Phuket mainland and back to your hotel where you will arrive at around 6 pm.
