TRAIL ITINERARY
19:30 - 21:30
Customers who book our private option will be picked up and transferred in all comfort to the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa in time to board the Manohra, one of Bangkok’s most famous, upscale dining options on the Maenam Chao Phraya.
Once embarking onto the Manohra, one of Bangkok’s most luxurious river cruises, one immediately will discover how intimate this totally restored and well maintained rice barge is. Comfort meets romance once you arrive at the resort’s pier where the staff will warmly welcome you on board this 70-seater vessel.
While the ship slowly leaves the pier, the dining festivities on board commence. The Thai set menus represent the very best of what Thai cuisine has to offer and the staff on board are not only more than happy to explain the various dishes, yet will also take into account any dietary requirements. The selection of dishes will satisfy even the taste buds of the most discerned traveller where a perfect blend of aromas and flavours are served in an intimate setting.
As we gently sail upstream the Chao Phraya River, many famous landmarks will be beautifully lit up. From the imposing Temple of Dawn, Grand Palace and Royal Barges Boat House, to striking bridges, glittering temples and other magnificent landmarks, with vivid snapshots of traditional Thai river life unfolding in between, one may sometimes have a hard time in either taking a bite or snapping some pictures of the City of Angels’ cultural contrasts by night. A well-stocked wine list and drink menu complement this dining experience on the water.
After we gently ply back to the main part of the Chao Phraya River, we head back to the private pier at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa where you will arrive at around 21:30 hrs.
