See the Angkor temples through the eyes of your camera lens

Few sites have drawn culturally-minded, photographers and those interested in the historical value much as the Angkor temples in the heart of Cambodia. Revered for its expansive size, its plethora of temple ruins and palaces and the story behind the Angkor Archaeological Site, it now stands tall as one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites…and for good reasons. There is always something new to learn and photography enthusiasts will have the opportunity to not only learn their skills but also improve new techniques once joining this visually-enhancing excursion around and through the Angkor Temples.

Guided by a professional photographer, we will embark on a journey to some of the most well-known temples ruins. And to maximize the attention to your ISO, aperture and shutter speed, groups remain small, thus increasing your learning curve. Ideal for learning new tricks and skills, this morning-only tour will certainly make you shutterbug savvy!

Half Day Siem Reap with a professional photographer

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 5am and we will remind you not to forget your camera. Angkor’s light in the early morning is perfect for some great snapshots. During this 6-hour exploration, your guide and expert photographer will inform you about the various settings, techniques and things to think about when shooting on this historical destination. All this will be of course very useful once you practice these newly-learned camera secrets on your own.

We start with heading over to the cradle of Angkor civilization – Angkor Wat – where, with optimum lighting conditions, your pictures will turn out just amazing. We will try to head out to the best spots once the sun rises behind Angkor Wat and lining out the contours of this hugely popular site. A breakfast box is included during this early morning.

Our guide will follow its own path and determines which temples and in what order he/ she will take it to avoid the crowds and to increase your chances of temple-only shots. Temples normally covered during our tours includes Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, The Bayon, Preah Kahn, and Pre Rup, though schedules are influenced by light and weather conditions and may change, depending on the situation. Schedules can also be customized.

Our experienced driver follows you all the way and brings you back in comfort back to your hotel where you will arrive at around 11am with, hopefully, a memory card of stunning shots of Angkor.
