The people behind Ubud’s Mozaic Restaurant had only one thing on their mind when opening the doors of their fine dining establishment and cooking school; to deliver the pinnacle in culinary experiences in a professional environment. With a variety of ingredients and spices right at their doorstep of this culinary establishment, the workshops at Mozaic are considered some of the best on the island.
A full day where a dedicated and passionate team of kitchen professionals guide you through the often intricate processes to get your raw ingredients presented in an eatable way. Depending on the availability of ingredients and the seasons, dishes associated with top quality restaurants around the world will be passing your cooking station.

After having enjoyed breakfast at your Southern Bali and Ubud resort, your driver is ready to bring you from your resort to the restaurant for a full day of cooking and getting acquainted with the art of fine dining. At around 9 am, you reach the Mozaic Restaurant situated in the green heart of Bali, where the team and the head chef welcome you into their culinary domain.
An introduction of what will await before and after lunch comes with assigning you to your private cooking station with all cooking utensils and requirements to start making excellent food. The day will comprise of creating courses, ranging from starters, main courses and desserts, with ease and with the assistance of the chef’s supporting team.
After lunch at the restaurant, the final touches of your hard day’s work will be rewarded with admiring your creation compared to those of your classmates. At the end of the day, you should have a basic understanding for preparing common Balinese ingredients (such as fish, meat, vegetables, and more) that will be a guide to creating fabulous meals once returning home. The day ends with thanking the chef and his team for their guidance, fun and patience and with your recipe book and apron taking home with you, the course is expected to end at around 5 pm. A driver will bring you back to your resort.
