TRAIL ITINERARY
09:00 - 17:00
Once our driver welcomes you at the lobby of your hotel, we move away from the main roads and drive directly in the direction of the UNESCO World Heritage protected and recognized rice terraces of Jatiluwih. These man-made marvels, flanked by mountain ranges, will be a fabulous start to your full-day tour. Jatiluwih, which means ‘Truly Marvellous’, offers awe-inspiring vistas of centuries-old rice terraces that exhaust your ability to describe green and local farmers still use ancient rice-growing methods. You’ll understand why just by viewing the panorama from the narrow, twisting 18km road leading in and out of town outside feeling, the fresh mountain air dooming up after every turn.
After this magical ride and experience, we head into the rain forest towards the sacred mountain of Batukaru. This religious place is known to be a source of prayers and blessings for long and healthy life. Your guide will lead you via a myriad of bamboo trees and walkways towards the shrines, and before you know it, a wave of tremendous stillness and a great sense of peace will also fall over you. Our endpoint is a rainforest camp, constructed by local craftsmen, out of bamboo where a locally-prepared lunch is served.
Lunch in the middle of nowhere and where pure spring water still runs through the rainforest has set to awe visitors, knowing that ingredients for your lunch are coming straight out of the rain forest. We leave the camp and head back in the direction to your accommodation but not before your guide will introduce you to a cup of the famous Balinese mountain coffee.
We end your journey to the soul of Bali is one of comfort, excitement and adventure and will bring you back to your hotel at around 5 pm.
