Underwater Explorations of Phi Phi Islands
Underwater Explorations
of Phi Phi Islands
Phi Phi Islands are bucket list material for all those wanting to see the magic of the underwater world
when traveling to Thailand. A full day seeing marine life like one may never see
anywhere else, suited for both beginning and advanced scuba divers.
WHY THIS TOUR?
Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh, collectively known as Koh Phi Phi, are located 48 km south-east of Phuket and 40 km south-west of Krabi. Phi Phi Don is a hedonistic party paradise with a collection of hotels, bars and shops. Koh Phi Phi Leh is undeveloped with white sandy beaches and soaring limestone cliffs.
The east and west landmasses of Phi Phi Don are joined by a narrow isthmus and it is here most of the mass tourist development has occurred. Phi Phi Leh is more renowned for its animal life and more specifically its resident swift population. The island’s pristine location in the middle of the Andaman require actually no further introduction when it comes to scuba diving in a surreal world of colours and marine life, guided by some of the region’s finest instructors.

TRAIL ITINERARY
08:00 - 19:00
With your driver waiting for you at your hotel lobby at around 8 am, we head straight to the main boat pier on Phuket where you will board a dedicated dive boat. This vessel will sail south in direction to the Phi Phi Islands, one of Thailand’s most famed scuba diving spots. This is a great site if you have not dived for a while and need to get wet.
On the way to Koh Phi Phi, your scuba diving instructor will brief you what you will see and experience: this diving trip is suited for all levels with an easy grade of diving to see a good variety of marine wild life. All equipment will be on board and with patience and lots of fun you will head into the water upon arrival at the dive site.
Located 48 kilometres southeast of Phuket, surrounded by crystal clear waters is the famous island cluster known as the Phi Phi Islands. The area is notorious for its staggering seascape; colossal limestone crags rising vertically from the sea, forming a mythical like geography in this pre-historic world. This provides unique dive sites that simply cannot be skipped when planning to blow some bubbles underwater. Wall dives, shallow coral gardens, all densely populated with reef fish are something you will be really looking forward to. When luck is on our side, the marine life around Koh Bida feature many sea fans, soft corals and are inhabited by large schools of colourful billfish wrasses and lunar tail groupers. Lunch will be included on board the boat.
After making 3 dives with your instructor, you will head back to the Phuket mainland and back to your hotel where you will arrive at around 7 pm.
