Transnusa Aviation Mandiri has received its air operator’s certificate, transforming the chartered airline management company into a scheduled domestic airline operator. Currently it operates services between Denpasar and Labuan Bajo, and destinations in the Lesser Sunda islands. Future plans are to expand services to Timor Leste and Darwin in Australia.
The airline’s present fleet comprises three Fokker 50 aircraft and two Aro Jets. It plans to operate 10 aircraft by the end of 2012.
