Starting from 3 February 2014, Malaysia Airlines will operate weekly direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi. The Kuala Lumpur-Krabi services are just the latest of other 35 weekly flights to Bangkok and 21 weekly flights to Phuket, for a total of 60 weekly flights connecting Malaysia and Thailand.
The Kuala Lumpur-Krabi service, operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, runs on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flights leave Kuala Lumpur at 14.55 and arrive in Krabi at 15.40. The return flight will depart Krabi at 17.20 and arrive Kuala Lumpur at 20.05.
As stated by Mr. Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Malaysia Airlines’ CEO, “Krabi i a popular holiday destination among Malaysians, therefore, Malaysia Airlines is pleased to offer to its guests this new escape opportunity”.
On the other hand, the launch of newts route linking Kota Bharu and Bangkok will be postponed until 19 March 2014.
