In an ongoing effort to maintain its leading positions in service standards, aligned with its name in hospitality, the owners of Siem Reaps’ Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor and the Raffles Hotel Le Royal in the capital Phnom Penh will undergo a major renovation project, scheduled to commence by the beginning of the second quarter of 2019.
For decades, both iconic hotels have been on the forefront of immaculate service standards under the world-renowned Raffles brand and according to a press release from Raffles Cambodia, the confirmed rejuvenation and renovation projects on both heritage hotels will be done in phases.
The Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Phnom Penh will see phase one of this one-year project commence by 1st April 2019 and is scheduled to complete its three-phased plan by May 2020. The management of the Phnom Penh property has announced that it will not close the hotel during the said time and operate as usual, avoiding any inconvenience and disturbance to customers during this period as much as possible.
Located in the heart of Siem Reap, The Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor announces that it will temporarily close its doors for guests, starting from 1st May 2019 until the beginning of October 2019. The management has announced in a release that the property will undergo a modern facelift without losing its character and heritage feeling.
