Rediscovering La Voie Royale, the Royal Road, in Angkor on a bike!
On the weekend of October 7-9 more than 100 bike enthusiasts from the French Bank Societe Generale took part in the second edition of the “SG Siem Reap Charity Bike Ride” in the Angkor Archaeological Park.
Participants were divided into two groups – Skill Riders and Fun Riders. They had to complete the different tracks, which took them through beautiful landscapes of lush green rice fields, dotted with ancient temples.
Day one ended with a massage session followed by a well-deserved candle-lit dinner by the pool.
The journey resumed on day two. It ended at Le Jardin des D’lices, the Training Restaurant of the Paul Dubrule Hotel and Tourism School, where a sumptuous lunch buffet awaited the heroic bikers. Participants received a Certificate of Achievement for successfully completing the charity bike ride.
The event was the talk of the town, and our company’s visibility was at its peak! Asian Trails once again demonstrates its ability to organise a fun and successful team-building event. The event organisers look forward to work again with Asian Trails for their forth-coming events.
