These data-driven insights enable more informed decisions around tour arrangements – leading to more sustainable travel experiences for your guests.

How we calculate carbon impact
Carbon calculations are available for all trips operated by Asian Trails. These cover emissions from transportation within Asia, accommodation and activities but please note that food is not included in the calculations.
We use CARMACAL, a specialised tool developed for tourism professionals to calculate CO₂ emissions for any travel product. Emissions can be calculated based on two people travelling together or for an entire group.
