General Affairs Officer | Indonesia
About the role

This important role within the Human Resources Department at Asian Trails Indonesia will be responsible for handling general affairs matters to support the operational and administrative functions of the office, while also providing direct administrative and communication support to the Managing Director. This dual role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and effective executive assistance. Based in Bali, the successful candidate will join a dynamic and passionate team of travel professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage office supplies, equipment and inventory needs, ensuring all departments are well-supported;
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance, utilities and other general services;
  • Oversee the cleanliness, safety and functionality of office premises;
  • Assist in organising internal company events and employee engagement activities;
  • Support HR administrative processes, such as employee onboarding (workstation setup, fingerprint registration, welcome kits, etc.);
  • Maintain and organise administrative documentation and general correspondence;
  • Manage the Managing Director’s schedule, including meetings, business trips and appointments;
  • Record meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on key action items;
  • Provide any other administrative support required by the Managing Director.
Qualifications
  • Indonesian national;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Office Administration, Human Resources or a related field (preferred);
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role (preferred);
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written, is essential;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness to work with different cultures;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively;
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities;
  • A “Can Do” attitude, positive thinking and creative thinking is an asset.
