Classic Thai dining returns to the River of Kings

A quintessential Bangkok dining experience is set to return on 3 August 2023. Set in a northern-style teak wood pavilion, Sala Rim Naam is a popular restaurant located across the river from Mandarin Oriental Bangkok. The hotel’s shuttle boat service transports diners to the venue in style.

Elegantly decorated with ornate wooden furnishings and intricate carvings, the restaurant serves lavish Thai buffet lunches and gourmet dinners with majestic views of the Chao Phraya River, which is also known as the ‘River of Kings’. The talented chefs present Thai classics, carefully crafted using ancient recipes with some modern twists and seasonal specialties.

In the evenings, dinner is accompanied by daily performances of traditional Thai dance and cultural shows, including vibrant depictions of mock battle scenes and folk dances. The performers, dressed in exquisite costumes, demonstrate some of the kingdom’s most iconic and enduring arts traditions.
