History comes alive in Hanoi
Asian Trails has unveiled a new family-friendly tour in Hanoi that is designed to engage both children and parents. This interactive experience combines outdoor exploration with a digital game, creating a fun and educational activity for all ages.
The activity takes place at the historic Co Loa Citadel, an ancient, fortified city located about 20 km north of the Hanoi. Once the capital of the 3rd century Au Lac kingdom, the site features construction techniques and architectural styles of an early Vietnamese civilization.
Participants use a map-based programme to navigate the citadel while uncovering fascinating stories from Vietnam’s past. Along the way, they complete quests, collect digital treasures and interact with characters inspired by Vietnamese mythology. Mini-games and interactive challenges are woven into the experience, making history come alive through play.
Hanoi History Hunt is self-guided and flexible, merging traditional sightseeing with tech-driven storytelling. Available year-round, the tour encourages families to connect with Vietnam’s cultural heritage in a dynamic and modern way. For more information or to book, contact Asian Trails Vietnam
