Longhouse adventure in Malaysia’s Sarawak

Nanga Sumpa Lodge is located on the banks of the Delok River, about four hours from Kuching in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. A basic traditional wooden longhouse, it is about 1½-hour longboat ride from Batang Ai Lake.

Enjoy pristine nature at the lodge with Asian Trails 3 Days/2 night’s programme. Activities include hiking through primary rainforest, sightseeing, river cruise, picnic by the waterfall and visits to nearby farms.

Participate in the daily activities of the Iban people – learn about their culture and enjoy fishing using a jala (throw net). And don’t miss drinking ‘tuak’, the local rice wine
