Phnom Penh welcomes new open-top bus ride

Travel in style on the Big Bus Angkor! A new way to explore the capital city has arrived with the launch of an open-top, double-decker evening tour.

With twice daily departures, the two-hour trip takes passengers on a journey of ever-changing views, enhanced with commentary from an English-speaking guide. The bus comfortably seats 58 passengers – 48 upstairs and 10 downstairs.

The discovery commences at a park near Wat Botum Pagoda and proceeds along the riverside Sisowath Quay, passing iconic landmarks such as the Independence Monument and Koh Norea, an up-and-coming district overlooking the Bassac River.

Depending on the chosen departure time, either 4.30 pm or 6.45 pm, guests enjoy open-air vistas of Phnom Penh’s highlights during the sunset golden hour or floodlit when the metropolis takes on a magical quality. This is a great way to absorb the city from an elevated viewpoint. For more information, contact Asian Trails Cambodia.
