Tropical waterfall Paradise near Phnom Kulen

Phnom Kulen or Kulen Mountain, about 50km from Siem Reap, is regarded as Cambodia’s most sacred mountain and a part of Phnom Kulen National Park. Its roots is steeped in Khmer tradition dating back to the reign of Jayavarman II.

Guests on Asian Trails Cambodia programme gets to pay respect to the sacred mountain. They live like a local with an overnight stay in a homestay where they mix with the residents and get acquainted with their daily life and traditions.

Activities include hiking in the jungle and up Kulen Mountain and visit to the small settlement of Svay Leu.
