Payar Paradise of Langkawi’s Coast

Guests are welcomed at the hotel lobby, along with one of Langkawi’s selected beaches by the driver cum guide for the day. This joint transfer may include making a few stops en route to pick up other guests before making your way to the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, the starting point for your cruising venture to one of the many islands off the Langkawi coastline.

Scheduled to leave at 9:30 am sharp, the morning starts with a cup of coffee and tea before the ocean winds call out the ocean for a trip to a little island called Payar. One of the close to 100 islands that form the Langkawi Archipelago, guests can look forward to a full day of sun, sand, sea and sceneries of stunning serene beauty. During the morning ride, guests will receive a complete briefing about the safety matters and what’s in store for the day to come.

Upon arrival, the sandy shores beckon beach seekers to don on masks and fins for an exploration of the underwater world. Those interested in going beneath the surface, the team on board and the island can give enthusiasts an introduction into the wondrous world of scuba diving (additional fees are applicable). Aside from the feeling of being worlds away from your Langkawi resort, the natural treasures below the ocean surface take you to a whole new world. The warm sands of the island form an excellent base to lay down your beach towel and dream away over the azure blue landscape of the Andaman Sea. A packed lunch is included.

After making your final dip in the ocean, your captain and his crew are signalling that it is time to head back to Langkawi. The boat ride back to the mainland, the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, is followed by an air-conditioned joint coach ride back to your resort, where we expect to arrive at around 3.30 pm.

  • Compulsory Christmas, country-specific festival and/or New Year dinner at included hotels
  • Single supplement charges for single travelers, where applicable
  • Any airline tickets, visa fees, additional transportation cost from and to the general meeting point
  • Supplements for transfers for customers arriving or departing from any airport or resorts located outside the general pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Hotel expenses of a personal nature, should an overnight be included: this includes mini-bar consumption, laundry, room service, any telephone or other communication cost not mentioned in the program
  • Travel insurance coverage for customers (highly recommendable)

  • This tour is operated on joint / Seat-in-Coach basis with English-speaking assistance only.
  • Tours and transfers are commonly operated by an English-speaking guide cum driver for smaller individual travellers.
  • Return transfers for this excursion apply only / are inclusive for customers staying along the most popular Langkawi regions i.e. Kuah Town, Cenang, Tengah and Kok. Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as The Datai, The Andaman, Tanjung Rhu, Four Seasons & St. Regis and from/to Langkawi International airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.
  • Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
  • Guests are advised that some walking is required during this excursion; we always ensure that we take the most comfortable ways from the entrance of the sight to the sight itself.
  • We will do all possible to comply with any dietary requirements during this excursion; it may not always be possible to confirm your wishes in advance based on the choice of local restaurant.
  • We always will make efforts to confirm the exact pick-up time upon reservation. For any operational issues in which are not able to confirm the exact pick-up time in advance, we reserve the right to inform you the day before the departure of the tour.
  • Please note pickup and drop-off services may not be confirmed for customers staying at private residences, apartment complexes, or other non-registered tourism accommodations. Customers may be asked to meet at a nearby hotel for pick-up and drop off.
  • Natural elements of any kind have a destructive effect on electronic equipment. It the customer’s own responsibility to ensure that any camera, mobile telephone or other device is properly wrapped and protected against these elements. We cannot be held responsible in any way for negligence and/or not following suggestions for any damage related to this.
  • There will be ample time for customers to spend time on their own to admire the sites at their own pace or browse along the shops for souvenirs. When additional time needs to be allocated for more time at leisure or shopping, this can be discussed with the guide on spot.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
  • Recommended to bring: change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and slippers / waterproof sandals.
  • It is essential for the safety of any scuba diver not to fly within 12 hours (one day) or 18 hours (multiple days) due to the high concentration of nitrogen in the blood stream. These regulations do not apply for customers who are only snorkelling.
