Leading chef elevates Cambodian cuisine

Celebrated Cambodian chef Sothea Seng – famed for his innovative farm-to-table cuisine – has unveiled his latest venture in Siem Reap: Pi Sa.

Opened in June 2025, the restaurant takes its name from the polite form of the Khmer word for ‘eat’, reflecting Chef Sothea’s deep respect for Cambodia’s culinary traditions.

Conveniently located beside the lively old market of Phsar Chas, Pi Sa serves fresh produce sourced daily from this venue. The menu reflects Chef Sothea’s philosophy of blending sustainability, seasonality and tradition in every dish.

Chef Sothea, whose Lum Orng restaurant was featured in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants’ Essence of Asia collection in 2021, has a growing portfolio of culinary successes across Cambodia, including Mahob Cuisine, Hotstone, and Beng Mealea Restaurant & Lodge.

Pi Sa is open daily, except Tuesdays, for lunch, between 11.30 am to 2.30 pm and dinner, between 6 pm to 10 pm. For advice about how to incorporate this dining experience into your client’s next journey, contact Asian Trails Cambodia
