Junior Business Analyst | Thailand
About the role

This challenging role in one of the fastest-emerging markets in the travel industry is to identify, increase and maintain Asian Trails’ foothold in the online travel industry. The ideal candidate is able to recognise new opportunities in the sales of online services across the various platforms with a commercially driven mind set. Aside from being able to adjust and adapt swiftly to the constant changes in the online sales world, the position requires to liaise with all other Asian Trails offices for new opportunities and align this with competitors in the market. Based in Bangkok, you will be joining a small yet dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a coordination point between business users, IT teams and vendors;
  • Assist Senior Business Analysts in preparing:
    • Requirement documents;
    • Process flows and basic system documentation.
  • Coordinate with business users to understand current processes and issues;
  • Support data checking, validation, and basic analysis activities;
  • Preferably having a broad understanding of the Asian Trails business models, both technically and analytically;
  • Coordination and collaboration with all Asian Trails offices;
  • Able to conduct in-house training and preparing reports on a regular basis;
  • Perform regular benchmarks and data-driven analysis to ensure that our products continue to serve the needs of the OTA customers;
  • Support the collection and documentation of business and system requirements;
  • Provide general support to project and system improvement initiatives;
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry;
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written;
  • Strong analytical capabilities;
  • Basic understanding of business processes and information systems;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and tool;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications and computing skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines;
  • A “Can Do” attitude and thinking;
  • Preferred / advantage: Exposure to IT systems such as CRM, ERP, reporting, or data platforms.
