Tour Administrator – Inbound (Indian Markets) | Thailand
About the role

This important role within the Indian Subcontinent team at Asian Trails Thailand takes care of the complete reservation process, including receiving requests from travel agents abroad, preparing offers and quotations and timely follow-up and booking for all services with our branch offices, hotels and suppliers in Thailand. The candidate will be responsible for issuing vouchers to hotels and other suppliers as well as the invoicing and payment collection process.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with the overseas travel agencies and tour operators;
  • Prepare itineraries and quotations;
  • Send reservation requests to hotels and land service providers in Thailand;
  • Follow up on programmes that have been sent;
  • Ensure all relevant data is uploaded to Asian Trails’ administration system;
  • Promote the use of Asian Trails’ B2B system;
  • Coordinate with the operations department within our offices for booking land services;
  • Follow up on payments with customers;
  • General administration tasks;
  • Work closely with colleagues from other departments and offices within the Asian Trails Group;
  • Be responsible for reservations and contracting activities with suppliers and hoteliers;
  • Attend out of office meetings with customers to handle events, special requests and other tasks as outlined by the Business Development Manager Indian Subcontinent (when required).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a travel & tourism company;
  • Good command of English (both verbal and written) is essential; ability to speak and understand Hindi language is definitely seen as an advantage;
  • Experience with FIT and GIT/series bookings is a prerequisite;
  • Experience with Destination Management software is an advantage;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (World, Excel, Outlook) applications and computing skills;
  • Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season;
  • A “Can Do” attitude, positive thinking and creative thinking is an asset;
  • This position is open for Thai nationals only.
