A feast fit for a king served up in iconic Vietnamese city

Explore Hue’s laid-back lifestyle on a leisurely cyclo-ride around this ancient Vietnamese city. As the former seat of power of the Nguyen dynasty, this destination has history and heritage in abundance. Thirteen monarchs ruled from this central region location which contains the acclaimed Imperial City and plentiful pagodas and palaces.

Likewise, the cuisine is also fit for a king. The schedule includes stops at a bar to enjoy a refreshing drink and light finger food, followed by a visit to a vegetarian restaurant to see Buddhist traditions imprinted in Hue’s food art.

Further away from the tourist district, passengers are taken to a street food enclave to sample authentic local dishes, including crispy Hue-style pancakes and unusual sweet soups. The varieties of colours and flavours, especially the roast pork dumpling in syrup soup, will provide a sweet ending to the night.
