Longest glass bridge in Vietnam

The world’s longest glass-bottom bridge has opened in Vietnam. The Bach Long structure, which translates to ‘white dragon’, spans a distance of 632-metres across two peaks in the Moc Chau Tourist Area in Son La Province, around 200 km from Hanoi.

The amazing bridge is suspended 342-metres above a beautiful, forested valley. A total of 450 people can access it at any one time. Officials tested the strength of the link by driving heavy vehicles over it.

The deck consists of super tempered glass produced by a leading French company, including three layers of 40-millimetres thickness. Guinness World Records plans to visit the bridge to officially verify the ‘world’s longest’ assertion.

The former record-holder is a 526-metre-long suspension bridge, elevated 182-metres above the Lianjiang River in China’s Guandong province.
