Banyan Tree Bangkok’s dinner cruise returns

Returning to operations on 20 March 2023, Saffron Cruise by Banyan Tree Bangkok is an iconic culinary journey on the River of Kings. Celebrate Thailand’s artistic heritage and the timeless splendour of the Chao Phraya River with a dining experience that combines modern and traditional influences with stylistic touches, award-winning cuisine and entertainment celebrating Thailand’s rich gastronomic traditions.

This luxury boat is operated by the Banyan Tree Hotel in central Bangkok. The navigation gets underway at 7 pm with disembarkation from Icon Siam Pier 2. The ever-changing riverscape includes the luxury retail development ICONSIAM, the Gong Wu (Guan Yu) Shrine, Santa Cruz Church, The Grand Palace, the Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun), Holy Rosary Church, Rama VIII Bridge, Phra Sumen Fort and the Bank of Thailand Museum.

The package includes a welcome cocktail and a four course Thai set dinner. There is also a paid bar on the vessel. The dress code is casual, but athletic apparel, sports uniforms, slippers, beach sandals and flip-flops and men’s open shoes are not allowed. This is a fantastic evening out that combines Thailand’s culinary heritage with the capital city’s cultural landmarks.
