Capital’s new hotspot sizzles at 400°C
Rapidly emerging as a standout culinary experience in Asian Trails’ Phnom Penh programmes, Hot Stone is a premium local restaurant offering an innovative twist on the traditional Khmer barbecue.
Originally established in Siem Reap over a decade ago by renowned Khmer hospitality talent Chef Sothea Seng, the brand has now expanded with the opening of a new branch in Phnom Penh’s Norea City area.

The Hot Stone concept offers an interactive dining experience where guests cook premium meats, seafood and vegetables on volcanic stones heated to 300-400°C, ensuring a personalised barbecue to suite individual tastes.
The new branch is located in one of Phnom Penh’s most dynamic new developments – a modern urban island that integrates residential, commercial and leisure spaces.

Featuring traditional Khmer wooden architecture surrounded by lush gardens, the restaurant provides a warm and elegant contrast to its contemporary surroundings. It is also conveniently situated just a 10-minute drive from the capital’s historic buildings, such as the Royal Palace.

With both air-conditioned indoor seating and open-air dining, the venue accommodates up to 100 guests, including VIP and event space ideal for FITs and groups.
