Product Manager | Vietnam
About the role
The Product Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the full product portfolio of Asian Trails Vietnam. This role drives product strategy, creates innovative travel experiences, and serves as the central hub for all product-related communications, training, and market intelligence across the company.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Develop, plan, and implement a comprehensive product strategy for Vietnam.
- Continuously review and update all products to ensure relevance, quality, and competitiveness.
- Create travel packages, modules, excursions, and unique exclusive experiences.
- Write compelling and commercially appealing itineraries.
- Monitor the market and analyse competitor products and trends to inform product decisions.
Supplier & System Management
- Identify, select, and manage suppliers to ensure the best possible product quality and innovation.
- Master and manage the company’s tour management system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data within internal systems.
Training & Communication
- Consult and train the inbound team on product knowledge and destination expertise.
- Consult and train agent partners on Vietnamese products and destinations when required.
- Act as the central communication hub for all product-related news, trends, and developments.
Sustainability
- The product manager is our Sustainability Manager for Vietnam. He/she is the liaison and reports to the Group Sustainability Manager.
- Plan and execute sustainable projects.
- Maintain Travelife partner status.
Qualifications
- University degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tourism, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s destinations, products, and tourism landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel management software; understanding of digital and e-commerce is an advantage.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong commercial instincts.
- Be familiar with our sustainability policy and code of conduct, and all things sustainable on the Responsible Travel page of our website.
